Hey all! It's been quite some time since I wrote a journal entry. So I'm just going to update you on my life.

Firstly, thanks for checking my page out! If you enjoy my artwork, I also have a tumblr (emilydraws) and flickr (emilsy) for more of my work.

So I've just entered into my spring quarter here at SCAD, and really enjoying it here. For the first time, I only have one studio class, which means less art projects. But this also gives me a lot more free time I think, so I'm going to be devout in my decision to draw every day. Although drawing every day is pretty easy for me, I want to challenge myself more and do higher quality works. Thank you all for your support, positive criticism, etc. And by the way, my room is overflowing with artwork! Hey y'all! I haven't written in a while. Well in case you guys didn't know, I'm a senior in high school. Of course, I plan on going to an art college, but I'm yet undecided as to where to go. Anyway, I got really excited today because I heard back from Pratt. Not only did I get in, but got a 14k merit and academic scholarship, woo! So it's between that and Savannah College of Art and Design, which I have an 8k scholarship to, and they haven't replied about the merit scholarship, so who knows. Yeah, I'm really excited about that, and haven't written in forever, so thought I'd let ya know.

I'm just so happy with lifeee. Lately I've been really stressed and had issues, but since around the New Years, things have really been working out. I got into the School of the Art Institute of Chicago! It's the only one I've applied to so far, but then like two days ago, I got into my top choice! (Savannah College of Art and Design) with an academic scholarship too! So that actually is like the main thing that makes me insanely happy. I still need to apply for more scholarships though, cuz I still can't really afford it. I'm just so content, everythings been working out after a long period of misery, you know?

Oh, and I dyed my hair and love the color, and tonsa things are going on, but yeah. Thanks for reading, sorry I stink with updating my art!
